Travel Day!

Somehow I outgrew my luggage even though I didn’t buy very much. I was able t get a great price for a new bag thanks to one of our leaders (Thanks, Meryem!), packed it, and left it at the hotel for when we return.

The train station was relatively easy to use. There’s some quick bites (McDonalds and Starbucks among others) there too.

Accessibility- I was worried about my heavy bags and getting them up/down from the train and storage part of the train. Another of our awesome leaders (Thanks, Alaa-eddine!) helped me to get a porter. The porter got us (my partner teacher and me) on the train and our bags but he did not put them up for us like they would in states (which is fine…just giving a heads-up of the differences in what they do.). Fortunately, a man in our cabin put our bags up for us and got them down too. I don’t know how we would have been able to do that on our own.
