Fabulous Fulbright February

This month has been full of preparing for the spring Fulbright trip. We met in DC a couple of weeks ago. Since I was from a previous cohort, I just attended the Moroccan specific session. It was so great to meet all the other teachers who will be going to Morocco with me.

We had a great presenter who had spent four years as a Fulbrighter in the country and we also had a Zoom call with Moroccan-American Commission for Educational & Cultural Exchange (MACECE) group who is planning the details of our experience.

This weekend, we officially received our host teacher information. I am thrilled to report that I've been assigned to a teacher in Marrekesh (Marrekech). My host teacher was a Fulbrighter in the US and has also hosted other teachers at her school in the past. How amazing to be able to benefit from her expertise and experiences!
